Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Retiring Products

Welcome to the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop, running on the third Thursday of the month. You are currently visiting Juana Ambida from Australia. I hope you enjoy my project showcasing the retiring products.

It's oh so sad that the 'Oh So Succulent' set is retiring - how could they lol? One benefit is if you already haven't purchased this wonderful set, it's now on SALE! Only for a limited time or while stocks lasts though. The stamp and dies, as well as the gorgeous designer series paper are reduced and now is great time to snap up the bargain. Click here to visit my online store.

Even though this set is retiring, I will surely be keeping it as you can make the most lifelike succulent plants, as well as unique cards. These kinds of cards and sets are hard to find and truly one of a kind. If you love succulents make sure to purchase this set before it's gone for good. Click here to see my other card using this wonderful set.

Here are the projects I have made both a top folding A2 card and pop up box cards, which I love making. I have used all the accompanying sentiments in the set, and having them in black reverse is a great way to highlight them and make it pop.

The Hardwood background stamp has been used on the crumb cake card base on this card. Creating these succulent plants are so much fun. The dies makes it so easy to cut and assemble. All you need to do is sponge the edges to give it dimension. I have used Sahara Sand and Mint Macaron to give it that extra dimension. Foam dimensionals haven been used to give it a raise between each layer.

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have inspired you & brightened your day. You are currently visiting Juana. Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don't want to miss any!

Thank you so much for stopping by, till next time Happy Crafting! :)

ESAD Eastern Palace Suite Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the ESAD Eastern Palace Suite Blog Hop. Whether you are starting with me or have hopped from visiting Cathy Pinchbeck, you are in for a visual treat as we're showcasing this beautiful new release. It's available in two bundles, the Starter and Premiere and are both great value. Click here to visit my online store.

To show the versatility of this set, I thought I might try a new card in a box fold that is a larger square size. It folds flat and fits in a 15 x 15 cm envelope, that you could custom make and would look great using the gorgeous designer series paper in this suite.

I have utilised the products that are in the bundles including the Eastern Beauty bundle stamp and dies, Tranquil Tide cardstock, Eastern Palace designer series paper and Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers.

The additional items are, Very Vanilla cardstock to coordinate with the patterned paper, vellum, gold emboss and the "Remarkable You" stamp set that's being carried over to the new catalogue yay!

The floral motifs on both the Eastern Palace designer series paper and the gold vinyl stickers became the inspiration on this card. To compliment this, I have used the gorgeous lotus flower from Remarkable You set. They are a perfect pairing as the petals reflect the stylised die cut floral of the Eastern Medallions thinlits dies.

Gold and Tranquil Tide are the main colours to keep with the designer series paper and the gold vinyl stickers.

The sentiment has been gold heat embossed on vellum and die cut out using the Layering Circles framelits dies.

The lotus has also been gold heat embossed on Very Vanilla cardstock. I was tempted to colour them in but wanted to keep to the same colours of gold and green of the papers used.

The back has also been decorated to have space to write a personal greeting. It's clean and simple and the partial die cutting of the flower gives another way to use the dies.

I hope you enjoyed and  found inspiration. The Eastern Palace suite is truly versatile and can create so many wonderful variations using the intricate dies. It also coordinates perfectly with the Layering Circles framelits dies allowing far greater creativity and makes good use of the sets. I was pleased how it all turned out, love the Eastern inspired feel of the suite. Making a card in a box allows so much creativity and a unique representation of the suite.

Now make sure you hop around to see what everyone else has created. Currently you are at my blog Juan Ambida. If you get lost each post has the line up so you can get back on track. Next you are off to see the great projects that Carly Middleton has got to show you.

Thank you so much for stopping by, till next time. Happy Crafting! :)

Tutorial Bundle Design Team May Blog Hop - Eastern Palace Suite

Hello and welcome to the Tutorial Bundle Design Team May Blog Hop.

We are featuring the fabulous Eastern Palace Suite and there are so many wonderful ideas and inspiration in this month's tutorial bundle that you don't want to miss. Click here to purchase.

The Eastern Palace suite is available to purchase now and is available in both the Starter bundle and the Premier bundle and they are both great value! Click here to visit my online store.

At first I wasn't sure about this bundle, but once you get started, it all just flows. I was pleasantly surprise just how well the whole bundle works together. The dies alone are just fabulous and there are so many ways and combinations that they can be used.

The cards I'm featuring, is to show another way that  the Eastern Medallions thinlits dies can be used together with our current Layering Circles framelits dies - they fit like a glove.

Not only can you create a window card front that allows you to see inside, you can also die cut another circle and use vellum or dazzling diamonds glimmer paper for added interest and makes the medallions pop as per my example. By die cutting several pieces you can build height and add dimension to the medallions.

The all inclusive Eastern Palace suite with the Eastern Beauty bundle, designer series paper, mini tassels, gold vinyl stickers are just amazing and can mix and match to create an endless array of variations. I have kept the card relatively monochromatic or just kept the similar colours to the dsp used.

The cardstock has been ink blended with the coordinating Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide inks to intensify and add contrast.

.
I love how everything coordinates and the ink blending really adds a nice tone to these cards and perfect for the white heat embossed sentiments. The mini tassels really adds to the Eastern decorative touch.

I hope you enjoyed and found inspiration. Make sure to check out the rest of the design team's creative projects for more inspirations by following the line up below. Stamp Review Crew - Nailed It Bundle

Hello and welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. This is my first one and I'm so honoured and excited to be taking part. It was such a lovely surprise to have been invited by Tanya Boser to join and be part of a wonderful team of talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world.

The Stamp Review Crew is featuring the super fun Nailed It stamp set.

For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also.

If you are following along in order, you arrived from the fabulous Heide Baks. Love her work!

I have made a Card in a box pop up as it would be a great way to showcase all the fun elements of the set and have a kind of custom made tool box. This is the Card in a box pop up in free form.

The photo below, I decided to tie the flaps down with linen thread, as it helps to make it look more of a tool box and keeps it all neat.

The Nailed It Stamp set was featured in the Occasions catalogue early in January and fortunately I was able to grab it then, as sadly the framelits dies are no longer available.  However, you are still able to fussy cut out the stamped images with the exception of the nuts and bolts.

Fortunately,  the coordinating Urban Underground Specialty Designer Series Paper is still available as well as the Urban Underground cardstock pack.

I have utilised these wonderful papers to decorate the project. The hexagon dynamic textured embossing folder has been used on the card base giving it an extra texture and interest and is currently available and is amazing!

The tools in the set has been stamped with black Stazon ink on Silver foil as it's quick drying and has better grip than the dye inks. Urban Underground dsp has been used for the handles.

The sentiment has been white heat embossed on basic black cardstock and die cut out with the frame from the set.

Here's a top view of all the inner workings of the card in a box with the bars that holds all the goodies in place.

It can be folded flat and fits in an A2 or C6 envelope.

I have used the Stampin' Up! clear acetate envelope to seal it in and ready and perfect for the post.

It is sad that this wonderful set is retiring as it's perfect for making masculine cards and has so many creative ways that it can be used. Changing the colours up can be made for the ladies too. If you like this set, be sure to purchase it before it's gone for good. I hope you enjoyed and found inspiration. Next on the blog hop is the wonderfully talented Rochelle Blok. I love her work and I'm sure you will too! Thank you for stopping by, till' next time Happy Crafting! :)
